The owner of this 20 year old carwash decided to get ahead of the inevitable decline in business often associated with older carwashes.  

Townco replaced the In-Bay Automatic with an all new Typhoon by Oasis Carwash Systems.  The Typhoon is a touch free wash built for speed, offering unparalleled performance and the fastest speed in the industry.  This allows the operator to wash a car in half the time of the old wash, which means money on a busy Saturday.

A new Hamilton pay station offers a touch screen menu, and a membership program to drive business with unlimited wash passes.

We were able to salvage some of the components of the original self-service equipment, just replacing the functional parts, pumps, hoses, etc.  The original meter “box” was left in the wall, with just the door replaced so as not to require expensive building repairs.  New functions include the foaming tire brush and in-bay dryer, with the blower motor hidden away in the attic. 

To round out the “new wash” experience, the vacuums were renovated to look and perform like new.  The owner did a great job of putting a new face on the building, installing pvc wall board in the automatic bay for a bright, white look, and painting the remainder of the building for a fresh appearance.
